ASSESSMENTS

Evaluation of homework/project solutions, evaluation of a small research problem assignment, evaluation of performance on

midterm and final examinations. Homework is mostly analytical exercises that include both engineering analysis and

engineering design. These test students' ability in ABET Criteria 3(a),(b),(c),(e),(k). The research project writeups are graded

for ability to identify communication of ideas (Criterion 3(g). Homework assignments and research project are chosen from

contemporary topics (Criterion 3(j)).
