IE Research Facilities
The Information Electronics (IE) group research facilities
are housed in two spaces--the IE Computer Lab and the IE Prototyping &
Testing Lab. The resources of these spaces are used to simulate,
design, implement, validate, and test full-custom mixed-signal chips and
complete embedded systems. The computing resources have an engineering
toolset that includes MPLab, Sun Java Developers Kit, Matlab, Maple, LabView,
Spice, Mentor Graphics, Magic, and Cadence.
