Scholarships for Undergraduate Study in

Electrical and Computer Engineering

The OSU Department of Electrical Engineering is privileged to have several endowed funds whose annual income provides full or partial scholarships to undergraduate students in the traditional electrical engineering option or the computer engineering option given by the Department. Each of these endowed funds was established for this purpose by the generous contributions of alumni, faculty and friends of the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Students who wish to apply for an undergraduate scholarship in the Department of Electrical Engineering can do so by using the OSU Scholarship Application form available at the College of Engineering Office, 122 Hitchcock Hall, 2070 Neil Avenue, Columbus OH 43210 or by clicking here. Note that two copies must be submitted to HI 122 so that the second copy can be forward to the ECE Department for Departmental Scholarships.

Application deadline is March 1 for scholarships granted in the following academic year. Students must reapply for these scholarships on an annual basis.

Scholarships for INCOMING STUDENTS

The Department of Electrical Engineering awards a limited number of scholarships to outstanding high school students who are applying to Ohio State with the intention of majoring in either the traditional electrical engineering option or the computer option of the BSECE degree. Students who would like to be considered for these awards should contact David Donley in the College of Engineering to get a student information sheet to complete and return.
