My Aurora!

Here, as always, stand I alone,
facing the incline to the north,
replete and drunk to the core,
with love, desire, and longing,
the Aurora Borealis!

You are the beacon of the night,
the arch to the heavens above,
the reach to the oceans below,
the mirror of northern domes,
the Aurora Borealis!

Tethering the winds of time,
you are the mirage of the sun,
reflection of serene thunders,
far away to touch and close,
the Aurora Borealis!

Conveyor of life, lust, and joy,
the vanguard of unraveled flame
trembling, glowing and warm,
the magic rainbow of the dark,
the Aurora Borealis!

For all the darkness of the night,
for the overwhelming silence,
for the oppressive cold around,
the apostle of hope and despair,
the Aurora Borealis!

You are the soother of the soul,
the eternal laughter of the sun,
the spark of tensions released,
the dance of energy unleashed,
the Aurora Borealis!

You are the reader of the mind,
the secrets to be learned,
the whispers to be shared,
setting hearts to scorching flames,
the Aurora Borealis!

The shimmering golden pathway,
of caravans long disappeared,
struggle and travail as they must,
bridging clouds of memory and doubt,
the Aurora Borealis!

The bugle of separated love,
the bonder of lonely souls,
the fury of desires unquenched,
the flame of unions untold,
the Aurora Borealis!

Here, as always, stand I alone,
facing the incline to the north,
replete and drunk to the core,
with love, desire, and longing,
the Aurora Borealis!
