Biography
John Hu is pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE).
His research is on integrated power management design for wireless and portable applications, which includes designing linear regulators and DC-DC converters etc. The primary goal is to investigate new analog power techniques that enjoy high efficiency and lend themselves easily to integration. The research is pursued collaborately with US semiconductor industry, such as Texas Instruments.
He was recognized for his outstanding academic achievements as a University Fellow between 2006 and 2007. He has been a Texas Instrument Fellow since 2009. He taught in many ECE undergraduate and graduate level courses both at Ohio State and internationally via remote lectures during his service as a Graduate Teaching Associate.
John received his B.S. degree from Beihang University, Beijing, China in 2006. He received his M.S. degree from Ohio State in 2007.
