John Hu

Industrial Experience

John Hu is a student program employee at Texas Instruments.

From June to September 2009, he was an IC designer with Low Power Wireless (LPW) under high performance analog (HPA) at TI Baltimore. He designed linear regulators for PFD/CHP, XOSC, MCML, and DIV blocks inside a frequency synthesizer used in sub-1GHz ISM RF transceivers. He also studied the feasibility of integrating a DC-DC converter for TI's next generation low power RF platform IC.

From June to December 2008, he was an IC test engineer with Battery Management Solutions (BMS) under Power Management business unit in Dallas, TX. He was responsible for characterizing the single-cell Li-Ion battery fuel gauges for handheld applications, such as smart phones and video cameras etc.
