Electromagnetics II

Summary:

Magnetostatics. Ampere’s and Faraday’s laws. Maxwell’s equations. Electromagnetic waves and plane wave solutions. Propagation, attenuation, polarization, and refraction of electromagnetic waves. Introduction to electromagnetic radiation and antennas.

Grading: Homework (25%), Midterm exam (35%), Final exam (40%).

Homework: ~Weekly. Assigned Friday and collected on the following Friday.
