relations: isotropic and anisotropic media, linear and nonlinear media,
causality.
3.
Boundary conditions at material interfaces.
4.
Wave equation and plane wave solutions in free-space.
5.

Vector potentials and fields of simple sources.
Review of aspects of calculus of distributions, vector calculus, and
calculus of complex variables will be interspersed to the above topics, as
required.
