Tetrahedral mesh and visualization of the fields associated with a dual circular patch antenna at resonance.
The bottom patch is fed by a slot 0.58cm long which is in turn excited by a microstrip line.  The top and bottom patches have a radius of 0.75cm and 0.65cm respectively.  The dielectric layer between the patches has an er = 1.12 and the substrate of the bottom patch has er = 3.27.  Note that the fields are continuous and smooth through the two patches.  These dual patches have a VSWR<2 between 7.25 - 8.45 GHz.

This human body is in the radiation field of a 50MHz 3m high amateur radio antenna (5 element Yagi) with a radiated power of 660 Watt located 4m away.  The picture shows the magnitude of the electric field in V/m in a cut plane through the body.  Results were obtained with the 3D FE/BI code using a tetrahedral volume mesh with 13743 unknowns.
