State by state: Where are electrical engineers employed?

According to the Bureau of Labor Staristics, Ohio has one of the nation's largest employment markets for electrical engineers in the country.
The BLS says there are more than 5,500 electrical engineers employed in Ohio, including 1,140 in the Central Ohio region. There are more than 610,000 electrical engineers employed nationwide, with a mean national wage of nearly $92,000.
