Electrical and computer engineering students have earned first place in previous years of The Ohio State University's Denman Undergraduate Research Forum. This year it could happen again.

Launched in 1996, the event showcases outstanding student minds, encouraging undergraduates to participate before graduation as a more hands-on element of their education.

The 24th annual event takes place Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Biomedical Research Tower (460 W. 12th Ave. in Columbus).

The submission window opens on Nov. 1, 2018 at 8 p.m. and closes on Dec. 5, 2019 at 5 p.m. Applications are limited to 200 students graduating in 2019 (spring, summer, autumn).

The forum is a cooperative effort of The Ohio State University's Honors & Scholars Center, Undergraduate Research Office, and Office of Research.
